ara Appel has been painting, drawing and sculpting since the age of four. She has trained at the renowned     Art Students League, New York University, The University of Pennsylvania as well as apprenticing with prominent artists including Burton Silverman.                         There are certain moments in time when life is captured at its best. I use light and color to reflect not only outer beauty, but the inner beauty of each person. With an immortalized perfect moment reflected in my portrait, one can acknowledge and celebrate the essence of inner beauty.
